#STEAMtheBlock Party – Saturday, June 18th, Richard England Clubhouse 14, 11am-4pm
This party fosters connections between schools, community organizations and parents in order to create a platform for our teens (ages 13-18) to display their talents. STEAM is BGCGW’s focus on using the arts to demystify STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in practical, hands-on ways. Our corporate partners will also have the opportunity to provide STEAM-themed workshops and activities on-site. Sponsored in part by Best Buy and WPGC 95.5FM, this event will feature Live Music and performances by local artists and youth. If you would like to participate, sponsor or just want more info, contact Lily Banning at lbanning@bgcgw.org or call 202-540-2345.
