The FBR Clubhouse provides quality youth development programming to children living in Ward 8. In 2015 we served 105 children per day. Our 664 members had access to the Clubhouse everyday afterschool, on most Saturdays, and all summer long at our Camps. 92% of our terrific children qualify for free and reduced lunch at school. In addition, the FBR Clubhouse provided support to another 820 children through our community outreach efforts.

After Care
Our doors are often open when schools are not…particularly between the critical hours of 3:30pm-7:15pm when youth are more likely to engage in risky behaviors. Club membership provides a positive, fun, and safe place for youth to thrive. The yearly membership fee is $50 per year, per child, however no child will ever be turned away for the inability to pay.
The membership fee includes after-care (ages 5-18), core area programs, snacks, special activities, and field trips during the school year. Athletics and special camps, including spring/winter break camps, and summer camp may be subject to additional fees. Please visit or call the Club (202-610-9707) for additional information.
Summer Camp
Each summer, FBR @THEARC Club offers an 8-week themed camp experience for kids aged 5-18. Camp runs from 9am-5pm and includes breakfast and lunch. Before and after care are offered for an additional fee. Our summer camp is designed to be fun for our members. FBR offers sports, games, arts and crafts and recreational activities. In addition, we design each day to include an academic component to combat summer learning loss. Each week we offer field trips to make sure our members get out and have fun. We go swimming every week and take a big field trip on most Fridays.
To find out more about our summer camp, please contact our Branch Director, Robbil Coleman, rcoleman@bgcgw.org.
