After a major capital campaign that was spearheaded by the Kiwanis Club of Manassas, the Manassas Boys & Girls Club opened in 2005. The Club was established as a collaboration with City of Manassas, which has access to the building for their Neighborhood Services programs. The Club opened its doors as the Carteret Mortgage Boys & Girls Clubs of Manassas. In 2008, the Carteret Mortgage Corporation declared bankruptcy and were unable to fulfil their pledge. The Club then became known as the Manassas Boys & Girls Club. In 2015, the Club was renamed to honor Martin K. Alloy of Stanley Martin Homes. Marty Alloy has been a long-time supporter of the Boys & Girls Clubs.
Today, the Martin K. Alloy Boys & Girls Club of Manassas serves nearly 1,200 members and many more through community outreach.
