As the year winds down, I reflect on another year filled with so many wonderful moments – from cheering on our 2016 Youth of the Year, Faith Moore, at the state competition level to bringing together youth and local authorities to have R.E.A.L. Dialogue about how to improve interactions in their communities. But truthfully, it’s the moments in between that make me most proud to be a part of the Movement. It’s when our staff and volunteers work daily, side by side to make positive, incremental changes in the lives of the kids we serve. We, all, work together and do everything we can to arm our youth with the tools to be successful.
The year 2017 looks bright and promising for BGCGW. My hope is that we will continue to provide the best learning and growing experience for every single child in our care. We can’t wait to see each of them make their individual mark in this world.
Again, we thank you for supporting Great Futures. Enjoy your holiday season, spend time with your family and celebrate the beginning of a great new year.
