Real lives. Real results.

We serve more than 12,000 area children and teens every year, and the impact is unparalleled:

100%

of Club kids graduate high school on time (DC Public Schools average 69%).

100%

of our seniors will go to college this year.

65%

of members say that Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington saved their life.

And of course, there’s all that our alumni go on to do after they leave our Clubs.

Alumni Stories

Give to the future.

Your donation goes to support initiatives in these three key areas.

Future-focused Programs
We’re focused on innovative and interactive programming, particularly for teens, to give them essential career and life skills and the chance to learn about emerging and in-demand jobs.

We’ll grow our Center of Transformation — a first-of-its-kind incubator designed to immerse kids in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), workforce development, advocacy and DEI. This is a state-of-the-art space where kids can take an active role in forming the future they want for themselves and their planet.

Improving Our Infrastructure
We’re upgrading and maintaining our infrastructure—from buildings to busses. This tells our kids we care, and we want to keep them safe. Your donation will help us continue to provide the bright, welcoming and well-equipped environments that make kids want to come and stay.

Securing Tomorrow
We’re laying a financial foundation. Our goal in this campaign is to create a solid financial endowment so we can continue to deliver our mission, even in tough economic times. This will put us on a level field with Boys & Girls Clubs in other parts of the country, such as Atlanta and Boston. Our kids in the DMV deserve that same kind of financial security.
