SPOTLIGHT: Clubhouse 14’s D.I.Y. STEM Program

D.I.Y. STEM is a hands-on, activity-based STEM curriculum which connects youth aged 9 to 12 to science themes they encounter regularly.

Special attention is paid to connections of theory and application and the common interactions members have with these scientific principles.

D.I.Y. STEM provides experiences with simple, fun, hands-on activities. Exposure to science, technology, engineering and math is critical during the tween years—when young people’s natural curiosity drives interest and builds capacity for success in these disciplines.

Meet Jasmine!  Jasmine (A.K.A. “Ms. Jas”) is Program Lead for Clubhouse 14’s D.I.Y. STEM program. She runs the 3rd Grade virtual leaning.

Her Clubhouse kids grow Hydroponic Gardens and compete in Engineering Challenges.

What sparks joy for Ms. Jas…?

“When my Club Kids get excited because they have found a solution to their problem!” She says.
