Alfonso Bowens, VP Human Resources

Alfonso Bowens is the Vice President of Human Resources for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington(BGCGW). Alfonso began his Human Resources career with Home Depot in 2001 and has worked in both the public and private sector in various Human Resources roles throughout his career. He has a passion for people and has worked with Dare to Care International for the past three years, traveling to Africa for missions work.

Alfonso has a BA degree in History and Government from Bowie State University and a MBA in Human Resources Management from American Intercontinental University. He also is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management(SHRM) and is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP).
