Summer’s now a memory but what great Summer ’14 memories our Club kids and teens have!
With the help of our amazing Board Members, partners and staff, I’m proud of the way we delivered on our most important promises – safety, and fun with a purpose tied to Summer Brain Gain. 90% of parents surveyed said they would bring their child back or refer a friend, citing convenience of location and past experience with Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington.
As we start the new Club year our Metro Board and Regional Presidents will focus on how BGCGW can build our momentum in serving the youth who need us most. With success comes the obligation to be prepared for a great future. Deepening impact, telling our story with metrics and results, positioning the Clubs to be first choice in a crowded market are each part of our plan.
YOU are part of our plan. Our first Annual Giving Campaign is underway – a huge thanks to everyone who has contributed and to all those who will. Every positive action such as mentoring, financial support, getting involved with special events or day-to-day Club life helps make sure that, for BGCGW Club members and communities, GREAT FUTURES START HERE!
