Erin Buck has been a part of the Boys & Girls Club family for two years. Prior to joining Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington (BGCGW), Erin served as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer for one year at Boys & Girls Club of Jackson, Tennessee. In Tennessee, Erin worked to build the capacity of the organization through resource development, grant writing, program support and marketing.
Erin joined BGCGW in May of 2014 as development associate on the Resource Development team. In her role, she manages corporate partnerships including corporate grants, volunteer engagement, stewardship and cultivation. Erin, originally from Richmond, Virginia, holds a bachelor’s degree in English, Language and Literature and a Minor in Leadership from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.
Now living in Arlington, Erin enjoys spending time with her Border Collie named TJ, discovering new restaurants, sightseeing and crafting.
Erin recently hosted Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington’s first Corporate Engagement Webinar for current and potential partners interested in deepened engagement with the organization. This innovative approach connecting community constituents with BGCGW proved a successful and valuable asset for the Resource Development Department.
We’re excited to have Erin as a new member of our team and we’re proud she is making such a difference in our community!
